Where Are Ten Trillion Traffic Cones When You Need Them?

So, how big then is a trillion? In my currency, if you take the average height of a traffic cone (let’s just assume a standard model, close to 20 inches) and multiply it by one trillion, this will get you to the moon and back how many times? Once? Twice? 10 times? I have bad news: 651 times.

For reasons unknown to me, the Treasury Department still measures in Dollar. With a national debt of around 10 trillion (as of today), that may become increasingly difficult. Mind you: There is no inflation when it comes to traffic cones…
