Since I started my Walk In The Park project in 2009, Central Park was hit by two severe storms. “Sandy” took down some of the most beautiful trees. Strangely, after walking by them almost every day, they feel like old friends. In some areas it’s even hard to figure out what was what. The tree above is still standing I think, but with a number of large branches missing.
